I love working with individual clients. Helping people discover, awaken and refine their personal style is what drives me and my business. It’s fun to step outside of that day-to-day work, though, and collaborate with people I respect. Last week, I had such a fantastic time putting together our second segment for News Channel 8 Let’s Talk Live (first one was all about dressing up your LBD).
This time I was invited to come and chat about cold weather style. I brought with me some of my favorite area bloggers: Julien Garman from It’s Julien, Angelica Talan from Clarendon Moms, Chelsea Henderson from The Chelsea Chronicles and Buki Peters from Style With Buki. We put together complete looks for all four women using toasty goodies from Bloomingdale’s, DeNada, Proper Topper and Madewell. Each look wasn’t just about staying warm, but bringing out each woman’s personality and personal style. Proof in the DC Style Factory pudding? Each of my models wanted to buy their looks post-show!
