Full Wardrobe Consultation
Have a closet full of clothes and not a thing to wear? Been shopping a million times, but not able to break the cycle of buying the same things over and over again? Bored, but not sure where to start? Help is on the way. DC Style Factory’s Full Wardrobe Consultation package we will make sure you have your fashion canvas — those essential items that make every wardrobe complete — so you can start painting with those special items that express your personality and lifestyle. The package includes the following:
- Closet audit. We will clean out your closet, decide what pieces you have that work and don’t work, and compile a list of items you need to complete your wardrobe. I also will organize your closet so outfits are easy to coordinate.
- Make list of missing basics and any add-ons you may want.
- Shopping! You can come with or let us do the heavy lifting. I will be happy to do the legwork and bring back options for you to try on in the comfort of your home.
- Fitting. Now here’s the fun part. We try on all our clothes and decide what works for you and with the existing items in your closet. You keep what works and decide if we need to do any exchanges.
- Look book. I will take pictures of day, evening and weekend looks. I will compile them in a easily referenced look book, plus give you mix-match options and moving forward tips.
Closet Audit
Has your closet become unmanageable, unreachable, unfathomable? DC Style Factory will help you weed out those items that are outdated, don’t work with the rest of your wardrobe or don’t fit. Plus we will organize things in a way that makes sense for you and compile a list of essential items, which you can purchase on your own, at your own pace. I also will make recommendations on where to purchase these items.
Event Styling
Have a wedding to go to and nothing to wear? Or, an interview and the last time you went suit shopping, Dynasty-style shoulder pads were de rigueur? Our Event Styling package is for you.
- Decide what your needs are for the event.
- Set a budget.
- Take measurements.
- Shopping! You can come with or sit back and relax. I will make the shopping experience fun and easy. We will decide together, beforehand, what stores we will visit. If you choose to have me do the legwork, I will provide the best options based on our budget and needs. I also will survey your existing shoes and accessories, and we will decide if we need to shop for those as well.
- Fitting. We will decide together which outfits looks and feels the best for your event. We complete the look with accessories and shoes, plus give guidance on hair and/or makeup to complete the look.
Treasure Hunt
Your black boots are just not working for you anymore. Or, you don’t have a pair. Or, you need to replace your favorite oxford button down shirt, update your ties, and find an all-occasion belt. DC Style Factory is at your service. I will hunt down those specific items, bringing back options according to your budget, style and needs.
