As the former owner of and buyer for an award-winning contemporary boutique for men and women, Rosana Hemakom Vollmerhausen has had over a decade of fashion retail experience. Her expertise also includes styling local fashion events, writing expert fashion tips for several publications, and personal styling for individuals.
Rosana launched DC Style Factory after clients from the boutique started contacting her for styling advice and services. Even with her plate full with raising two children under 5, she soon realized she wasn’t ready to pack in her well-heeled business. What she loved most about her years spent dressing D.C. residents at her 14th Street outpost was the one-on-one.
